Good health and safety practice is extremely important to MJ Phoenix and Son Ltd. With health and safety laws and regulations ever changing and the requirements becoming stricter, it is our duty to practice a safe and healthy work environment to ensure the health and safety of our employees, subcontractors, clients and members of the public.

The majority of our workforce is registered with full CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) status and we are committed to achieving 100% CSCS registration throughout the workforce. In addition to CSCS, we are continually undergoing training to ensure that we are fully aware of changes to latest health and safety requirements. our health and safety standards and procedures are stringently assessed by industry recognised bodies such as Constructionline and we are approved member of CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme).

In addition to 'in-house' staff training and assessment, we have employed the 'Building Safety Group' (BSG) to offer safety advice, training and to carry out regular independent inspections of our sites, reporting and advising upon health, safety and welfare.
