Central Exchange, Grey St, Newcastle Upon Tyne
- Installation of a full access scaffold to all elevations of Grey, Market and Pilgrim Streets
- Works included structural & cosmetic repairs, cleaning & repointing to the stone facades
- Timber sash windows were repaired and decorated.
- Installation of a new bird repellant system to the facades, roof and internal lightwells
- Repair works to the slate roofs, lead lined box gutters and flashing to the rotunda roofs
- Full independant access scaffold to the glazed atrium that forms the roof of the Central Arcade
- Repairs and replacement of damaged glazed panels & corroded glazing bars to the glazed atrium
- All works were undertaken ensuring that the shopping arcade was not disrupted during the course of the works
